You Taught Me

You are the person who taught me that I need to speak to be listened to.
You allowed me to trust for the first time, and with that learn to let others in.
You pushed me into those first steps that made me want to run, and jump, and reach for everything I could.
You gave the "good" to my person and the "best" to my friend.
You taught me to fight.
Fight to be heard. Fight to love. Fight to achieve. Fight to be better. 
So now I will fight for you
