Movies

It wasn't like it is in the movies. 
We didn't have some big fight that went until 3am, 
We both went to bed around 10 that night, 
He didn't try to stop me, 
He said "Do what you have to do",
I didn't burst into tears and cry the whole next day, 
I cried for a minute, then stopped, 
He didn't cheat on me, 
That's not why we broke up. 
He hasn't come back for me, 
He probably never will.
It wasn't like in the movies, 
I didn't cry to my friends at school, and mope around like my life was over, 
I just held it in, and tried to heal my broken heart quietly
